How Often Should You Blog? — The Art of Blogging

Something that has troubled me on and off for a while. Over on The Art Of Blogging. There is a lot here to take in, and some of it flies in the face of a lot of what I see…

For those of you who don’t have the time to read through this blog post: blogging is a conversation. You blog as often as it takes for it to still be a conversation. Okay, now let me explain.

  1. I figure if a post doesn’t get comments, it didn’t do well. I give them all a few days in between to see if people pick up the post after all. Sometimes I get likes and no comments. This is probably also to do with coming off the second surgery and recovering still. I haven’t been able to get around to many blogs to comment. My numbers of views have fallen too since Jan. when I had surgery one. I hope it’ll go back up in the future as I return.

      1. Not at all! I think people just are hesitant to make comments at the best of times. It’s more personal-putting yourself out there and I think most don’t want to do that. Or at least, that’s my theory.
